The video below shows how to use leftover paper scraps in 3 different unique ways. I have also included a link to my shop for some of the stamp sets and other tools I used to create these cards.
Enjoy
- Mark a pencil line as a guide for your sentiment on a Very Vanilla or White card layer 3 – 3/4″ x 5″
- Stamp sentiment in the
center of your card base - Tape leftover paper scraps in strips of 1/2″ to 3/4″ wide scraps using the pencil line as a guide
- Trim scraps that hang off the edge
- Adhere scrap layer to a coordinating cardstock 4″ x 5 – 1/4″
- Glue cardstock layer to card base 8 – 1/2″ x 5 – 1/2″
scorded at 4 – 1/4″
- Take 8 1/2″ wide strips of leftover paper scraps and snip flagtails at the end of each one
- Tape them at
ramdom lengths on the right side of your base card - Stamp sentiment on a strip of cardstock 1-3/4″ by 5″ and snip flagtail at bottom of
strip - Tie twine at the top of cardstock strip and add wooden elements with glue dots
- Attach strip with dimensionals
- Cut 7 1″ squares from wood grain leftover paper scraps
- and cut 7 1 – 1/4″ squares from coordinating cardstock scraps
- Corner round punch each square on two corners opposite from each other
- Tape all 7 1″ squares to the 1 – 1/4″ squares
- Attach all 7 with dimensionals as shown on the picture above
- Stamp sentiment where the missing square is
- Finish with gold pearls
